Overview

USC Associates is the University of Southern California’s premier academic giving society. Its members are among the university’s most loyal and enthusiastic leaders and supporters, funding students, faculty, and educational programs across USC campuses.

USC Associates connects its members to each other and the university through shared values and a commitment to academic achievement. The USC Associates team plans events and facilitates individual requests for university-wide engagement opportunities.

Mission

Since its inception in 1959, USC Associates has worked to advance knowledge in the sciences, the humanities, and the professions by providing financial support for student scholarships, faculty awards, and academic programs at USC. Through its members’ enthusiasm, loyalty, and leadership, USC Associates has played a role in making USC the world-class research institution it is today while also helping to attract the highest-caliber students and faculty. Since 2015, USC Associates has proudly awarded more than $1 million annually in merit-based student scholarships.

Membership

Membership in the USC Associates is open to alumni, parents, and friends of the university who give philanthropically to support higher education at USC. Gifts* or pledges are payable over five years and may be designated to any school or academic program. Membership levels are: 

Chair: $300,000 and above
Plus $3,000 required minimum annual contribution to the USC Associates

Presidential: $150,000 – $299,999 
Plus $1,500 required minimum annual contribution to the USC Associates

Provost: $50,000 – $149,999 
Plus $500 required minimum annual contribution to the USC Associates

Junior: $25,000 – $49,999
Plus $250 required minimum annual contribution to the USC Associates

*Gifts made within the last five years may qualify for membership consideration
